The Government of Karnataka has started many scholarships in order to provide education to the backward class students. In order to provide more concentration to the backward class students, the government has created the “Backward Classes and Minority Department” in 1977 and the Backward Classes and Minority Department has helped many of the students in completing the graduation.

The Government of Karnataka organized the Backward Classes Welfare department and under the Backward Class Scholarship the BC welfare Department has started the application form of Post Matric Scholarship for Backward Classes Students, The Scholarship has started for the BC students to help them in the study of the post-matriculation level.

Eligibility Criteria For www.backwardclasses.kar.nic.in Scholarship 2021

• Students Should belong to the Karnataka State.
• Student Should belong to the Backward and minority class.
• The annual income of the parents should be less than 1 lakh.
• The students should have admission to the government college only, The Students belong to private colleges are not eligible for the Scholarship.
• The  student should not have any other aided scholarship by the government
• The document should be submitted before the last date.
